These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Reconifi, a receipt reconciliation service operated by Creo Tech LLC ("we", "our", or "us") and available at reconifi.ai (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Reconifi is a receipt reconciliation service that matches bank transaction records with receipt images using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology. The Service processes your uploaded files and provides a downloadable report showing matched transactions.

2. User Obligations

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your uploaded files
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not upload files containing malicious code or viruses
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Not use the Service to process data you do not have the right to use
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Payment and Pricing

3.1 Fees

We charge fees based on the number of receipts processed. Current pricing is displayed on our website before you complete your purchase. All fees are in U.S. Dollars.

3.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

3.3 Refund Policy

All sales are final once you download your reconciliation bundle. However, if the processing fails or produces incorrect results due to a technical error on our part, please contact us at [email protected] and we will work with you to resolve the issue, including issuing a refund if appropriate.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• User error (e.g., uploading incorrect or poorly formatted CSV files)
• Dissatisfaction with matching results when the Service performed as described
• OCR inaccuracies in receipt data extraction (inherent limitation of OCR technology)
• Changes of mind after download

4. Data and Privacy

4.1 Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded data (CSV files and receipt images). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

4.2 Data Retention

We automatically delete all uploaded files (CSV files, receipt images, and generated reports) within 72 hours of upload. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4.3 Privacy Policy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at reconifi.ai/privacy.

4.4 Cookies and Tracking

By using the Service, you consent to our use of cookies and tracking technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes the use of Google Ads cookies for advertising measurement and conversion tracking. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

5. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

6. Accuracy and Limitations

Our Service uses OCR and AI technology to process receipts and match transactions. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• OCR may not accurately extract all receipt data, especially from poor quality images
• Matching algorithms may not correctly identify all transaction-receipt pairs
• The Service provides suggestions and should be reviewed for accuracy
• You are responsible for verifying the results before using them for financial decisions

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and content, is owned by Creo Tech LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREO TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creo Tech LLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wake County, North Carolina.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Creo Tech LLC regarding the Service.
